The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA will probably be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is alarmed regarding the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office devoted to service the area on a regular sassa status basis. The provider level created for intervention activities a substantial influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to help the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
